The Story of Mulan (China)

Once upon a time, in ancient China, there lived a young girl named Mulan. She was the only child of a respected warrior, and she grew up learning the ways of the warrior. However, Mulan was not like other girls, she was strong, brave and determined.

One day, the Emperor of China issued a decree that one man from each family must serve in the imperial army to defend China from invaders. Mulan's father, being the only man in the family, was called to serve. However, he was old and weak, and Mulan knew he would not survive the war.

Without hesitation, Mulan made a decision to take her father's place in the army. She cut her hair, put on men's clothes and set out to join the army. She was not afraid of the challenges that lay ahead, she was determined to protect her family and her country.

Mulan proved to be a skilled warrior, and she quickly rose through the ranks. She became a respected member of the army, and she was soon appointed as a leader. She led her troops to many victories, and she was instrumental in driving away the invaders.

Years passed, and the war came to an end. Mulan's father, who had thought his daughter was lost, was overjoyed to see her alive and well. Mulan, having accomplished her mission, returned home to her family.
